Had my first appointment with Aspen and loved the staff! They explained everything to me in great detail and made it easy to understand! Before my appointment started, I had some questions about my insurance because I’ve never had dental insurance before and wanted to know what to expect. A girl at the front was able to explain it very well and had my insurance plan with my coverage pulled up and ready. The appointment started with x-rays and then I met with the hygienist. She explained everything to me so well and now know a lot more about how to take better care of my teeth. I did have to wait to see the dentist but the assistants were very kind and checked on me a lot to make sure I was doing okay. After Dr. Dillon was available to see me, he really took his time to listen to my insecurities about my teeth and explained how he can help me. After he left the room, the assistant set me up in a little waiting room to wait for the office manager to go over the plan that the dentist had suggested. She took me to her office and went over the plan and cost with my insurance plan included. She made it very easy for me to understand and helped me set up a financial plan that I can make monthly payments towards! I am very excited to start the clear aligners to make my teeth look better and get cleanings with them regularly! I highly recommend this office and can’t wait for my teeth to look straighter!
Took amazing care of me and were so sweet. Wish I could leave 6 stars !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Aspen Dental! From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcome and comfortable. Bryanna, my assistant, was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure I felt at ease throughout my visit. Hayley, the hygienist, did a fantastic job, she was gentle, thorough, and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. Taryn, the office manager, was also wonderful and helped everything run smoothly with a friendly and professional attitude. Dr. Dillon was exceptional, very knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I truly felt like I was in great hands the entire time. I can’t recommend this team enough. If you’re looking for a dental office that genuinely cares about their patients, this is the place to go!

Dental crowns in Hutchinson, KS FAQs

Explore answers to common questions so you know what to expect—before, during and after your dental crown visit at Aspen Dental in Hutchinson office.

A dental crown is a cap placed over a tooth to protect it. It helps fix teeth that are weak, broken or misshapen. Your Aspen Dental dentist shapes the tooth, takes a mold and then places the crown on top. The crown looks and works like a real tooth.

Dental crowns can last up to 15 years. They last longer when you brush, floss and visit your dentist often. Chewing on hard foods can wear them down. If the crown gets damaged, your dentist may be able to replace it.

Crowns don’t respond to whitening treatments, so their color remains the same. If you whiten your natural teeth, your crown may no longer blend in. For the best color match, it’s usually recommended to whiten your teeth before getting a crown.

Yes, you can eat normally once the crown is set in place. At first, it’s a good idea to chew on the other side of your mouth. Try to avoid sticky or hard foods that might loosen the crown.

Dental crowns don’t need special care, but you still need to brush and floss every day. Regular dental visits help keep the crown and your other teeth healthy. Avoid grinding your teeth and ask your Aspen Dental dentist if a night guard might help.
